About buying the magazine

Hi, I'm not a doll artist but I enjoy sewing for them and I have done few re-rootings in the past- nothing like the professionals of course- and I'm very curious about the magazine.


My question is, will one be able of buying individual magazines without having a subscription? If so, how much?

The goal is to, eventually, have the magazine sold at newsstands, book stores, craft stores etc. Until then, the only way to buy an individual issue would be to buy it from this site, as a back order, which would end up being more expensive than it would be if you got it at the subscription price. The exact prices for back orders have not been set yet.


I know that, never having seen the magazine, you may be hesitant to purchase a subscription, but a digital subscription is only $40.00, with no shipping fees, and you're always welcome to buy your first issue as a back order, to see how you like the magazine, and then decide whether you'd like to purchase a subscription. The magazine will include, among other things, custom made sewing patterns for various dolls!

I've already sent two messages (on the contact form) about getting a code for a digital issue and haven't received a reply. The issue has been payed for and I'd really like to look at it. Please send the code! The contact form is really annoying since I don't want to download more junk onto my computer just to send a message.

Hi Cynthia.

I purchased the magazine on the 4 Jan and have had no contact. I have emailed them 5 times now 3 via there web site and twice via the email paypal gave me. I have heard nothing I have now logged a complaint with paypal and they also still have not had any response from doll customize. I really want the magazine but with no code I can log in. When did you purchase your issue?

Hello, and I'm very sorry that you have not yet been contacted with your code. This is one of the reasons why we have had to halt publication for the time being – we are understaffed. We will be on contact with you soon.

Hi Tina,

I noticed the message about trying the magazine that was posted on the 20th. I ordered a digital copy weeks ago and still haven't received it. I'm not sure you should still encourage folks to order a magazine that they will not receive. I very much want the magazine, but am beginning to wonder if I'll ever see it. It looks great from the cover. Why is it so difficult to send a code? This has me completely mystified why it can't be taken care of in a matter of minutes and save the headache with paypal and angry, dissatisfied customers. Please, please send the code so that I might enjoy the inside! Here is my email:

I purchased this mag on the 4 january and still not had the code. you said in the message on the 23 jan you would be in touch soon with the code for the BACK ISSUE. I ordered but i have had nothing. I have contacted paypal and they have had no response either. i really want this magazine. Please send me the code. here is my email address
